First Time - Like a Virgin!

I've always been a technoramus. It was only this year that I learned (and still learning) how to surf the `net and email. It was only two months ago that I seriously took my friendster account. And now, I have my own blogspot!

It was my friend Bianca Gonzalez who actually told me about this. And I'm quite excited to post my first message.... Feeling Carrie Bradshaw without the fabulous clothes and shoes though....

Well what can I say about Jet Set? It's going to be about anything and everything under the sun! I'm quite opinionated and I have lots of things to say about lots of things and at least this blogspot thing gives me an outlet (I sometimes feel my friends are sick and tired of hearing my strong opinions on things)!

Well, before you think what right do I have to share my opinion on you guys, let me tell you something about myself. I graduated high school and grade school from an exclusive boys school and graduated college from a girls' school (well almost because it was exclusive for many years and we were one of the few boys who actually enrolled in their school. Besides, I feel and think like a girl even if I;m a guy and it's what's in your heart that matters right?!?!). I'm now working as a publicist, talent agent, columnist and scriptwriter all rolled into one. But come to think of it, I'm just a prostitute in the maddening industry I chose to invest my time and my body in!

i described showbiz as maddening but that's an understatement -- and I'm not bitter. It's actually what makes this industry so fascinating and keeps pulling me towards it like a newly escaped prisoner to a prostitute. Showbiz is reality multiplied in fantastic proportions. In showbiz, we actually feel, think, talk, breath, fart and poo just like the rest of the world but it's often multiplied a thousand times.

And so forgive me if I'll use this blogspot to maintain my sanity by venting out and using you guys as my mental punching bag but it's your choice. You can log out now at this moment or maybe you can join Jet Set in its maiden flight -- whether we soar to greater heights or crash and burn together -- only the gods can say. But one thing's for sure, when you ride in Jet Set, there's no turning back! So sit back, relax and fasten your seat belts. We're about to take off!
